Trifari Turquoise, Sapphire and White Enamel Snake Bracelet, Earrings, Maltese Brooch Set

NWS 1-1403

~ This Trifari Set is so famous, I think it's featured in every book in my research library. It's just gorgeous! The heavy goldplating is called "Trifanium", patented by Trifari after the war. This new metal coating reveals, once again, the superior level of Trifari's design expertise and innovation. This faux gold was intended to look like the real thing, and it does.

~  This set is the trifecta from heaven! It is comprised of a snake cuff, clip earrings and a matching Maltese Cross Brooch.

~ The snake cuff is actually oblong shaped, instead of round, which is much more comfortable on the wrist. It has a shovel clasp on the side, and the opposing side has a hinge. The bracelet has a goldtone safety chain. The cuff is enameled white, all the way around its outside circumference, with a raised diamond pattern to replicate snake skin.

~ The snake's eyes are depicted with large, faux sapphire cabochons, and 18 more sapphire crystal cabochons are integrated into the design. These stones are prong set into their golden settings, just spectacular. The inside circumference of the bracelet measures just 6", so it is meant for a small wrist (please measure your wrist before ordering, just to make sure). The bracelet measures 1 7/8" wide, where the heads are side by side.

~ The brooch bears the same materials and measures slightly over 2.25" across.

~ The Earrings are clips and measure 1" long. The Trifari advertisement (to the right), from a Spring issue, 1958, "Vogue Magazine", shows the coral version of the set.

~ Signed on the reverse "TrifariŠ " with the crown logo above the "T" on all 4 pieces.

c. 1958, in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Heavenly!
