Trifari Sterling Vermeil Floral Pin Clip

~ This stunning, 3-dimensional, six petal flower has a 10x8mm faux emerald which has been prong set at its center in an oval shape. 

~ The center stone is cupped with 2 curving petals encrusted in faux pave diamonds. 

~ The 6 flower petals are plated in rose gold, with faux diamonds set into their curling edges. 

~ The 3 flower buds below the flower hold 8x6mm and 9x7mm faux topaz crystals with open backed, unfoiled settings. 

~ The yellow gold tone leaves also have pave edges, as does the tip of the stem.

~ Measures 2 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" high. 

~ The back of the fur clip is rose gold plating with only 2 tiny spots of wear.

~ The reverse of this fur pin clip is signed Trifari with the crown logo; the clip mechanism retains its perfect tension. 

 c. 1942, in excellent vintage condition, some wear to the plating. This truly is piece of jewelry history, having been designed by Trifari’s famous head designer Alfred Philippe, who was responsible for creating fine jewelry masterpieces for both Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
