Karl Lagerfeld Gold & Pearl Trellis Bracelet

NWS 1-1657

~ Rare, and highly desirable, this is a fabulous bracelet, straight from the king of couture, Karl Lagerfeld.  Karl has designed for Balmain, Valentino, Fendi, Patou, Chloe, and many other top names of the fashion industry.

But his genius for design doesn't stop with fashion. Starting in the 1970's, Lagerman has occasionally worked as a costume designer for theatrical productions and designed for theaters like La Scala in Milan, the Burgtheater in Vienna, and the Salzburg Festival. Lagerfeld also designed the costumes for the Carmen sequences in the 2002 film, Callas Forever. In 2004, he designed some outfits for the international music artist, Madonna, for her "Re-Invention Tour", and recently designed outfits for Kylie Minogue's "Showgirl Tour". As the head designer for Chanel, this iconic and charismatic couturier has a global reputation for his unique genius.

~ This fabulous link bracelet is designed in 4 panels, each one a trellis formed as a background for the flowering vines that grow. White glass pearls form the center of flowers, in varying sizes, to punctuate the beauty of the design and add shimmer. The base metal is plated in 18K gold. Nothing but the best.

~ The bracelet measures 8" long. The slight extra length is necessary for this unusual bracelet because of its width which is 2". It will fit a normal wrist size, and is also suitable for larger wrist sizes, because it terminates with a hook and extension chain.

c. 1980, this bracelet is in excellent condition.  There are no missing or damaged faux pearls, nor is there any loss of gold plating.  The bracelet is marked "KL" twice.  The hang tag is KL in script and is also marked KL on the back side of the letter K.

Price = $827.00 b3, k-p
