Ciner Amethyst, Turquoise & Diamond Bracelet NWS 1-1603
~ This is one of Ciner's most famous bracelet designs. It comes in this color combination of turquoise and amethyst cabochons and diamond accents. The other version is ruby, emerald and sapphire which is pretty but not as different as this color way. There's something more dramatic and appealing about the colors of turquoise and amethyst together, set against a rich gold backdrop. It's heavenly. ~ Look at the craftsmanship in this bracelet. Literally hundreds of crystals have all been set by hand, AND not glued in, but prong-set. Typical of Ciner, the company that gilt its start working in fine materials, their workmanship is superior to just about everyone else. Look at the plating, the stones, and the design. You absolutely cannot distinguish this from the real thing, except for the fact the check you write won't be in the ten's of thousands! ~ Let me point out the design genius for a moment. Look at the 2nd and 3rd pictures above. You will see that the bracelet's architecture is made of individual plates that have been linked together with golden chain cables which are hidden inside the plates. These cables run the length of the bracelet and terminate at the clasp ends. A safety chain is the final coup de grace, making this bracelet the Fort Knox of safe and superior construction. A shovel clasp sets the deal. ~ The bracelet measures 7.5" long, and 1" wide. ~ Signed on the reverse "Ciner". c. 1970, in excellent condition. Ah, Ciner,... the Tiffany of the costume jewelry industry... (for when only the very, very best will do). ~ Fabulous FacetsTM ~ |
