Ciner Gray Pearl Torsade Necklace

NWS 8-1609

~ OK, so I over did it with all the photos. I couldn't stop myself. It was like eating pistachios. These strands are so lux, I almost wanted to eat them.

~ These glass pearls seem to have a life of their own. Depending upon the lighting, they can appear as a pale gray, the kind of gray you see in mid-morning on Nantucket Island, when the sun is bright but the sea fog hasn't burned off yet. All glowy, like this  >>>

~ And then in evening time, low lighting, they get moodier and sexy and take on a deeper-but-still-glowy cast >>>

~ You can see the ripples in the surface of the cabochon on the clasp, just like a real mabe pearl. Surrounded with Swarovski's best faux diamonds and real gold plating, it just doesn't get any better than this.

~ It's a tactile experience to feel the coolness and the sleek weight of these strands as they glide through your fingers. You won't want to stop touching them. They're substantial, with a good heft, but comfortable to wear. Cool on the neck.

OK snap out of it. This is a pop quiz:

To the left is a real pearl necklace made by Verdura. Today's value, about $87,500.

To the right is Ciner's glass pearl necklace. Today's value, $829.00.

It's a no-brainer if you ask me.

HepburnBeadedBib2.jpg (6373 bytes) ~ The ten strands measure 17.75" long. The length can be shortened by twisting.

~ Clasp measures 1.75" long and 1.25" high and is set with faux diamonds making it special enough to wear as a centerpiece.

~ Reverse of the gold-plated, shovel clasp is signed " CINER©".
