~ This is a gorgeous
necklace band from the 1970's, an absolute copy of David Webb's design shown
below. It's trés chic, of course, and the only difference is, you don't have
to mortgage the house to acquire it.
~ Two "arms" on either
side of the collar have spring-loaded hinges, making it easy to put on and comfortable to
wear.
~ The inside
circumference measures 8.75"; designed to rest comfortably at the
collar bone.
~ The necklace is of gold tone metal, with 5
design segments that are covered with pavé-set, clear rhinestones. The crystals in these
5 sections are set into rhodium-plated metal, which looks like platinum.
~ The collar contains a total of 3
faceted, faux emeralds; 2 faceted, faux rubies; 1 faceted, faux topaz, and 2 faceted, faux
sapphires.
