Trifari Gold & Diamond Necklace & Bracelet Set

NWS 6-706

~ A lovely and graceful set that can be worn at work during the day, and perfect for frolicking in the evening. Very sleek and very chic!

~ The metal is thickly plated with faux gold, and the design is one of vining scrolls. This is part of Trifari's "Promenade" line, which was launched for Christmas, 1952. You can readily see the scroll motif which was a popular design theme of Retro jewelry (1938-1952), so this is considered a "transitional" set, among the last made of the Retro design era.

The jewelry seen in the middle of this vintage advertisement from "Vogue" magazine, December, 1952, is part of Trifari's Promenade series.

~ There must be over 50 marquis-cut, faux diamonds in this set, which is also sprinkled with faux diamond chatons. It packs a lot of fire power without being over the top.

~ The necklace measures 15.25" long and just over .5" wide. It terminates in a folding clasp.

~ The bracelet measures just over .75" wide and just over 7.25" long. It terminates with a folding clasp, and has a safety chain - another sign of quality.

c. 1952, with "Trifari" stamped on reverse and crown trademark over the "T", in mint condition, with all original stones.

Price =  $265.00 b3, sets3, q-z sets 3, q-z 2
