Regency Topaz,, Iridescent and Japanned Bracelet, Brooch & Earrings Set

~ This Regency set will jump start your heart!  Sultry and midnight sexy, these shimmering crystals of gold, honey, cognac and topaz are set against a "midnight sky" of black enameled metal - a dark, dramatic backdrop for the immeasurable brilliance of all those faceted stones. Walk into a room wearing this set, and you will be noticed. It is that unique.

~ For starters there's a bracelet that dazzles the eyes:  12 big, fat, aurora borealis (iridescent) crystals align themselves to the center, with their hand-cut facets, throwing light all over the place in shades of green, lilac, purple, blue, auburn red, gold..... Oh heck, if it's in the rainbow, it's here!

~ Then comes the brooch, a gentle feather or leaf-shaped beauty, curved into a soft arc. This brooch has architecture. Place it on a table, and you'll see that it rises above the table's surface by 5/8". It has several layers giving it dimension. And all of that depth is filled with sparkling crystals.

~ The earrings are constructed with the same layered structure as the brooch. 7 marquis-cut, faux topaz crystals form the backdrop for the lighter, iridescent crystals on top: 1 faceted chaton, 1 faceted marquis, and 2 very slender, "spiky" marquises.

~ All stones are prong-set and are in closed settings.

~ The bracelet measures 7.25" long and just under 1" wide; shovel clasp, with safety chain.

~ The earrings are clips and measure 1.25" high and 7/8" wide.

~ The brooch measures almost 4" long and 1.5" wide.

~ The black metal is made by a process called "japanning", is relatively uncommon in costume jewelry, and is highly sought after.

~ Regency was only in operation for 20 years. Their jewelry is far superior in quality, design and materials, and is highly collectible.
