19th Century Photo Pin with Blue/White Enamel Frame

~ This is a fabulous antique circa 1890 real photo pin

~ The brooch has a gorgeous gold tone rope-twisted frame accented with alternating blue and white glass enamel inlay

~ The photo is hand tinted and she is wearing a fantastic large feather plume hat and a large black velvet bow at the back of her hair

~ This pin measures 1 5/8" in diameter, with a 1 3/8" diameter photo. It has the old "T" bar hinge pin back
with a simple "C" type catch which is right for the time period

~ Truly a delightful Victorian brooch, in exquisite condition, all original. The informality of the pin's setting suggests a church picnic, May Day, or the County Fair.
