Trifari Flowering Bonsai Tree Fur Clip, by Alfred Philippe

~ This is such an adorable Trifari fur clip. It was designed and created in 1942 by Trifari's famous designer, Alfred Philippe.

~ With its Chinese red trunk and limbs, the tree's branches are loaded with yellow enameled blossoms, at the center of each is a tiny, black onyx cabochon. The brooch has been made with rhodium plated metal, and this silvery sparkle has been allowed to show at the edges of each flower petal.

~ The enamel details of this tree have all been applied by hand. The colors include red, pink, yellow, pale gree and dark green.

~ Scattered across the canopy of the tree are over a dozen, faceted, faux diamonds for extra sparkle.

~  This fur clip measures 2" high and slightly over 1.5" wide.

~ The clip mechanism retains its perfect snap and hold. It is marked "Trifari" with the crown logo above the "T", and "Pat.Pend".
