Necklace of Fantasy. Masterpiece

NWS 13-1639

~  A master glass blower has created these incredible jewelscape. The individual beads are frozen in their movement like stamens on a coral flower in an undersea reef. This necklace is a one-of-a-kind, phenomenal, breathtaking masterpiece. You won't find another one like it. It's the only one ever made with these vintage glass beads, most of which, themselves, look like they're from Dale Chihuly's work bench. Once this work of art has sold, it's gone forever from the marketplace. Well,... would you part with it?!

~ The glass lies cool and smooth at the base of a woman's throat, very comfortable to wear. If you look carefully at the photos, you'll note the artist has blown each bead such that it has a tiny, rounded tip, so they don't poke the skin, but swivel easily, freely on their brass rings and rest comfortably at the collar bone. Like the beachy foam of a Caribbean ocean wave on the shoreline, the light passes through each bit of raised glass and catches a frothy sparkle. Sublime.

- The necklace measures 25" long and the largest clusters measure 2.1" widest (when fully spread out on a table).

c. 1930-40, this is a vintage piece, in perfect condition, and just never found. Probably made in France, possibly Gripoix.

Price = $730.00 nex 2
