~ Right out of the 1960's comes this elegant horse brooch from Henkel & Grosse. This German design firm,   located in Pforzheim, Germany since 1907, had designed for Schiaparelli and also for Jeanne Lanvin. Starting in 1955, Henkel and Grosse gained even more fame when they began making jewelry for Christian Dior. They produced 4 jewelry collections per year for Dior for many years.

~ Brooch measures 2.25" wide and 2.1" high.

~ The horse's mane and forelocks have faux diamonds outlining the strands, while a coral cabochon marks his eye.

~ Marked on the reverse " ", in near mint condition, all stones bright and original.
