 Superb Florentine Gold & Diamante Necklace

~ Glamorous, timeless elegance are the perfect words to describe this necklace. Timeless, because it has a beauty that transcends fleeting fashion trends. The intricate scrollwork could have been done by an 18th century European jeweler to The Crown, but I'd wear it to an event tomorrow! This is a work of art.

~ Most of the gold plated scrollwork is done in a Florentine finish. Wherever the curlicues reveal their undersides, the plating is smooth and shiny, adding to the sculptural dimension of this piece.

~ The necklace is constructed of links made of scrolled metal plates. These are linked together with double metal bands of rhodium that have been set with brilliant faux diamonds.

~ Folding clasp is also covered with pavé rhinestones for camouflage, so it blends right into the design

~ Necklace measures 16.5" long. Centerpiece is 2.5" longest, and the width tapers down to the back and measures 5/8" wide.
