Kenneth J. Lane Diamond & Enamel Maltese Ribbon Brooch

NWS 10-1317

~ Kenneth J. Lane understood women, and he honored them with beautiful jewelry. Why do you think the Duchess of Windsor preferred Kenneth's designs? She had access to the best jewelers in the world and could easily afford "the Crown Jewels", but she preferred Kenneth J. Lane! In fact, Lane's jewelry quickly became famous world-wide, and the long list of his customers includes the rich and famous, like Sophia Loren, Barbara Bush, Jackie Kennedy, and Nancy Reagan.

~ We can start with the fact that Lane used only the very best crystals (Swarovski) in his designs. In fact, Swarovski custom designed some stones solely for Lane's work that no other designers had access to. So when you're buying Lane, you know you're getting the very best.

~ This brooch is made of "ribbons" of goldtone metal the criss cross at the center, forming a square know. The tips of the enameled ribbons gently curl at the edges, revealing a shimmering highlight of golden edging.

~ An extraordinary brooch for the woman who appreciates that class is timeless! Maltese brooches seen here from Kenneth J. Lane's book, Faking It, p. 73.

~ Signed on the back, Kenneth Lane ©
